MEWP basic training course

When hiring and selling our equipment, like aerial lifting platforms, we at Collé Rental & Sales feel it is important that your employees are aware of the correct operating procedures. This enables them to use the machines in a safe and efficient way.

The aerial lifting platform basic training is designed for people who regularly need to operate an aerial lifting platform, in order to work at heights. Do your employees already have an aerial lifting platform certificate? Take a look at our MEWP refresher course.

To offer complete training, your employees will be tested on a number of components at the end of the course. Following this, they can obtain a certificate. This is done both in theory and in practice, and is assessed on the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired during the course.

The following topics are dealt with during the training course:

Theory:

• Safety instructions and warnings
• Explanation of possible hazards
• Safe operation (ground and platform)
• Theoretic test

Practice:

• Checking safety instructions and warnings
• Emergency control
• Operating from the ground
• Operating from the lifting platform
• Moving into working position

This course is eligible for funding from the Scholingsfonds bouwnijverheid, OOM. Visit your own trade association's website or the R & D fund for more information. The hourly registration for CCV / code 95 can be indicated upon application for training.

Good to know

The aerial lifting platform basic training is focused on manoeuvring and operating the platform. In addition, a good basic knowledge of safety is central to this course. On and around the workplace (LMRA). In addition, the operation of the aerial lifting platform is taught on the basis of national (and international) standards (IPAF), both practical and operational.
