Forklift/Reach truck refresher course

The training is intended for experts in possession of a valid forklift certificate who regularly drive forklifts and want to extend their certificate with this training.

Are you an advanced forklift driver? Then this training will definitely be suitable for you. During this training, we refresh your knowledge and skills. We also bring you up to date on new regulations and legislations. Particular attention is paid to the practical use and everything you have encountered as a driver over the past few years. Furthermore, the risks are discussed in detail, so that you don’t fall back into old, perhaps bad habits. 

In this training, we deal with different skills. The main focus will be on the load on the forklift. In addition, the driving ability is important. We will refresh your knowledge about various accessories and test your ability to drive.

The training is intended for employees who have already obtained their forklift and/or reach truck certificate but need a refresher course. In Germany, according to DGUV regulations the refresher course consists only of theory and is mandatory at least once a year. In the Netherlands you will be tested both theoretically and practically on the following subjects:

Theory:

• Working Conditions Act
• Legal requirements
• Work environment safety
• Forklift names
• LMRA - Last Minute Risk Analysis

Practice:

• Initial inspection (visual)
• Driving with the load
• Operation of the forklift
• Orientation on the environment
• Loading/Unloading shelves/trucks
• Leave unattended

Good to know

Refresher courses are taken to refresh the knowledge and to renew the existing certificate. In Germany, according to DGUV regulations it is mandatory to do a refresher course at least once a year.

With this training we also offer the theory as an e-learning module. This way you follow the theoretical training wherever and whenever it suits you.
