Sustainability is a strategic pillar in Collé's business philosophy, alongside safety and the environment. 'Green' buildings, 'green' transport and 'green' work are becoming a prerequisite for doing business. Less CO2 emissions, less noise pollution, less fossil fuels, but the same performance as diesel engines. Because of their noise reduction, electric machines are ideal for work near schools, hospitals, offices and residential areas, among others.
When purchasing new machines, electric is chosen whenever possible. In addition, traditional diesel machines are being electrified. Machines that are not yet available electrically are equipped with the innovative Stage V engines. The share of electric within the rental fleet is growing rapidly. Collé's total fleet consists of more than 26,000 machines. A large proportion of these are electric.
