Genie Industries is an American company, founded in 1966 by Bud Bushnell, which is owned by Terex and builds machines such as earth-moving machines and cranes. It started with the introduction of the Genie® Hoist, a mobile, pneumatic material lift. Later, more types of material lifts were produced as well as a range of access platforms. Genie manufactures products that soon received global recognition due to their revolutionary designs.

Genie manufactures different types of machines, ranging from access platforms, scissor lifts, material lifts to telescopic handlers. Today Genie, as a subsidiary of Terex Corporation, keeps improving the quality of the products. With branches from Denver to Dubayy and Hong Kong to Helsinki, the blue lifts are very much in demand.
