Sabatino Faraone started the family-run business in 1969. The company produced aluminium doors and windows and became an industrial company within a few years. Piero Faraone developed aluminium ladders, which were a real innovation at the time and replaced the traditional wooden ladders. In addition to aluminium ladders, Faraone developed aluminium scaffoldings and later aerial work platforms. The company has always paid special attention to safety regulations and guidelines. In 1990, Faraone started the production of aerial work platforms with telescopic aluminium columns. Faraone was the first company in Italy, and one of the first in Europe to do so.

In 2011, Faraone started production of the new automated ladders Elevah. This small automated vertical mast lift was developed for carrying out work at heights quickly and safely, and therefore saving money, time, and fatigue.
